Help! My password doesn't work!
If you have tried logging on to the members
only section of the website or tried to download an audio file from members
only and your username and password refuse to work, there are several
possibilities:
- Are you sure you are logging in to the correct place on the
website? There can be some confusion caused by the casual users
login on the left sidebar of the main Handiham web page. If you go to that
login, it will ask for your "nickname" and password. Anyone can
get a nickname and password for the casual users section of the website, but
only Handiham members with disabilities can get usernames and passwords for
the "members only" section of the website. The username and
password for casual users will not work for members only login. You must use
the username and password that we have sent you with logon information for
members only.
- If you use any capital letters, the login to members only will not
work. Only lower-case letters are allowed. Check to see that your
"caps lock" key has not been pressed by accident.
- Forgotten password: Please email patt@courage.org
and let me know which section of the website you are trying to use. Please
include your full name and ham radio callsign, if you have one.
- I was never issued a password to get into members only. How do I
get one? The answer is to request one by emailing the Handiham
Secretary at hamradio@courage.org
and requesting a username and password. You have to be a paid member with a
disability, so if you need membership information, you may also give your
name and address, and a member form will be sent to you. You may also call
toll-free 1-866-426-3442.
