Please register with us prior to starting a course. We do ask students to register for courses that are appropriate to their level of licensure. For example, if you do not yet have an amateur radio license, of course you should take is Technician Class, not Extra Class. Fees: CHU is a free service for Handiham members. The cost of operating CHU is covered by your membership and by donations from generous hams everywhere who want to share the fun and excitement of amateur radio. Courage Center is a nonprofit United Way member. Course Offerings : Six Meter Operation and Propagation lecture series taught by Matt Arthur, KA0PQW. Format: a series of audio lectures will be given by Matt, an accomplished VHF contester and operator. Matt teaches operating skills at Handiham Radio Camp.
