{"id":250,"date":"2013-02-28T09:46:25","date_gmt":"2013-02-28T15:46:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/handiham.org\/remotebase\/?p=250"},"modified":"2013-03-07T14:09:42","modified_gmt":"2013-03-07T20:09:42","slug":"menu-redesign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/handiham.org\/remotebase\/2013\/02\/28\/menu-redesign\/","title":{"rendered":"Menu Redesign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, what else is new with Web Transceiver version 6.2.0.200?: Menu Redesign<\/p>\n<p>We at Handiham are all about simplicity and ease of use.\u00a0 That is why we are redesigning the menu system.\u00a0 <!--more-->To make things simpler, the new version of Web Transceiver has all menu options functioning.\u00a0 We have also removed defunct menu options that are not compatible with Windows 8.\u00a0 Some menu options are no longer needed and are being removed.\u00a0 Hang in there folks, we are making Web Transceiver simpler to use for all To enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Under the Setup menu, you will now find the Enter logon Info option\u00a0 as the first item on the list.\u00a0 If you want to modify your existing station or add a new one to the list, then the Enter Logon\u00a0 Info menu is where you want to be.<\/p>\n<p>Want to update your client, Under Setup, you will find an option named Update software.\u00a0 This option now works and has two major fixes:\u00a0 The Web Transceiver does not terminate and you are actually taken to the site where you can download the latest client.\u00a0 Go ahead, give it a try and give us your feedback.<\/p>\n<p>Under Info \/ help, you will now find a link to the Keyboard commands.\u00a0 Visit this option if you want to read all about the hot keys that are supported by web transceiver.\u00a0 Remember, you will be taken to the correct web site that has all the hot keys available for the application.<\/p>\n<p>Need Technical support?, well under Info \/ Help, you will find a new option named WebXcvr Help \/ support which takes you to the help pages at Handiham.org\/remotebase.\u00a0 Visit the pages often for updated tips and suggestions.
