Handiham Radio Camp-Metro Edition runs from September 4 through September 11, 2025! Lots of Handiham members are already on the list for applications. Enjoy a week of ham radio fun and learning. Make new friends while building an on-air community that continues after you return home. Learn new operating skills like logging, fox hunting, antenna design and building, making cables, and setting up your HF station, soldering, and operating Morse code. Keep abreast of the latest amateur radio and assistive technology that makes amateur radio the perfect hobby for so many people with disabilities. Instructors are experienced amateur radio operators from throughout the nation and sometimes other countries as well. Attendees requiring personal care assistance bring their own caregivers. And, we leave plenty of time to take a break from learning to enjoy entertaining activities like swimming, brailled card games, jam sessions and fellowship with other campers during the week.
