Want to set the RF gain? Here are the steps.
W4MQ allows the RF gain to be set with a simple command sequence. Since you asked us, we want to let you know how to do it.
1. Make sure that you are already logged into the station for which you are setting the RF gain.
2. Press the letter G for RF Gain.
3. Now, use the less than sign < on your keyboard to decrease RF gain.
4. Alternatively, you may also press the greater than sign > on your keyboard to raise the RF gain.
The less than sign is also the comma key on the keyboard and the greater than sign is also the period key. Both keys are right next to each other. For those who use a standard 101 keyboard, the keys are arranged from right to left: Right Shift key, Slash key, period key, and the comma key.
Tip: with a screen reader, just turn on character echo to hear the character you are pressing.
